I can see my house from up here!

It has been a good week.

I always sort of dread that first week back from any kind of extended break. Whether a summer/winter break or just the regular week-long spring recess, the first week back causes me to worry about how much I've managed to forget in a single week of non-studious conduct.

Nonetheless, this week was phenomenal.

A cute girl told me on Tuesday that my birthday card to her was the best birthday present she got this year. She even laughed when I told her that was depressing. Another attractive girl told me in class today that I am her all-time favorite law student. I got to have a fun discussion about the relative importance of property rights to other types of political rights with a guest lecturer in a class. Someone told me this week that I was sophisticated and urbane.
